OHS Training & Consulting is a women-owned, independently owned occupational health and safety firm that has served Massachusetts and New England for more than 25 years. Founded and led by Nancy Hughes-Bonelli, OHS brings occupational health, safety, and compliance together under one roof: the OHS Total Care clinic in Brighton, on-site safety and rescue, and OSHA, HAZWOPER, and compliance training, all from one local team.

Owner & President

Nancy Hughes-Bonelli

President and owner of OHS Training & Consulting for more than 25 years, Nancy has worn virtually every hat in the company. She is a Drug and Alcohol Collector, First Aid and CPR Instructor, OSHA Authorized Outreach Trainer, and Construction Safety Officer, serves on the steering committee of the Construction Safety Roundtable, and is a board member of the National Safety Council. She built the firm on the relationships and trust that clients return for, year after year.

Vice President

Laurie Witkus

Laurie began her medical career as a Certified Medical Assistant in hospice care before moving into occupational health, focused on keeping employees healthy enough to stay on the job. She is a DOT-certified drug and alcohol testing instructor and collector, a CPR, First Aid, AED, and NARCAN instructor, and handles on-site respirator fit testing and phlebotomy for medical monitoring.

Office Manager & Head of HR

Gillian Teixeira

Gillian joined OHS in 2016 as an Executive Assistant and advanced into senior management, now serving as Office Manager and Head of HR. She holds a B.S. in History and a Juris Doctor from New England Law, and passed the Massachusetts bar. Outside work she is a Scouts BSA leader, a Library Trustee and Chairperson, and Rear Commodore of her yacht club.

Medical Director

Brian T. Morris

M.D., J.D., M.B.A., M.P.H.

Board certified in occupational medicine, Dr. Morris earned his M.D. at Brown's Alpert Medical School, an M.P.H. at the Harvard Chan School, a J.D. at New England Law, and an M.B.A. at the Yale School of Management. He is a Medical Review Officer and FMCSA Certified Medical Examiner, and provides the in- house medical direction behind OHS Total Care.

Confined Space Rescue Director

Don Bonelli

A former firefighter of ten years with a degree in engineering, Don leads confined space rescue operations, training, and client support across New England. He is trained in confined space rescue through CMC and MSA, including MSA's Train-the- Trainer program, and holds an OSHA 30-Hour certification.
